1.The employer applies on behalf of the applicant via the online application system for a Notification Letter of Foreigners' Work Permit and uploads the required documents.

2.Acceptance and Preliminary Review（1 working day）
The application undergoes preliminary review. The employer will be notified at this stage if any additional information or materials are required. After all required information is submitted, the application will pass the preliminary review stage and continue to the following stages.

3.Secondary Review (1 working day)

4.Final Decision and Approval (1 working day)

Once the application has been approved, the employer can download the Notification Letter of Foreigners’ Work Permit from the application system and send it to the applicant. The applicant must print this out and submit it along with other required application materials to apply for a Z or R visa at the Chinese Visa Application Center in their country/region of residence.

1.The employer shall upload a scan of the visa and entry stamp on the application system within 15 days to apply for a work permit. The application will be reviewed again following the process listed above. The employer shall also apply for a work-type residence permit at this time.

2.Once the application is approved, a decision on granting a work permit will be made, the employer will be notified, and the applicant or the employer’s designated representative shall submit the applicant’s original paper application materials in person at the application window for verification. Following verification, the work permit will be issued on the spot.

If the application is denied, a decision on not granting the work permit will be made and reasons given.
