On July 22nd, Haikou Municipal Government held talks with Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Kansai of Japan. Ding Hui, Deputy Secretary of the Haikou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Haikou, and Kei Akiyama,, Executive Vice President of Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Kansai of Japan, attended the meeting.
Ding Hui welcomed the visit of Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Kansai of Japan to Haikou and briefed them on the progress in building the core zone of Hainan Free Trade Port. He stated that Haikou places high importance on the development of foreign investment and enterprises. He expressed hope to fully leverage the Chamber’s coordination and liaisonrole and the enterprises can utilize their professional expertise to promote practical cooperation in areas such as medical and healthcare, biomedicine, food processing, service trade, and high-end catering. Haikou will continue to provide high-quality services, fostering a favorable business environment for enterprises.
Kei Akiyama expressed that the inspection provided a profound understanding of Hainan Free Trade Port’s open policies and industrial strengths, allowing them to experience Haikou’s substantial development opportunities and strong growth momentum. The Chamber will fully utilize its role as a resource integrator and a facilitator, further promoting the achievements, core policies, and industrial development opportunities of Hainan Free Trade Port’s core zone. It will foster business partnership and economic and trade exchanges between the two sides to achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.
